Clarra’s Analytics Dashboards provide Users with an interactive interface to gain insights across various sections of Clarra. Powered by Domo, Clarra Analytics makes it easy to ask and answer important questions for your business.
You can access Clarra Analytics by pressing the “Reports” section on the left side of your screen and selecting the “Clarra Analytics” tab. You can also change your main Clarra Dashboard to the Analytics Dashboard by pressing “Dashboard” on the left side of your screen, selecting the downward arrow next to “Standard Dashboard” and clicking “Clarra Analytics” in the dropdown menu.
A major advantage of using Analytics within Clarra is the ability to look at metrics as they relate to your Matters. Clarra Analytics are cohesive with the rest of the platform, building off and referring to the features your company has utilized. You can filter by Matter and Matter Type to understand overall profitability and the health of your business by practice area. Here, Analytics are not abstract, instead grounded in the rest of your workflow on Clarra.
With the analytical heft of Domo, you attain up-to-date and customized data-driven insights. The interactive interface makes it easy to investigate metrics further, and explore correlations between fields.
One of the hallmarks of Clarra Analytics is the intuitive filtering design. To see more information about a bar on a chart, row or column in a table, or specific data point, simply click on the element and the dashboard will automatically process new filters.
Reset the filters with just one click, in the top right corner of the selected display.
Charts are easy to Export as well. Simply click the “Share” icon seen below in the top right corner of the selected display. You can Export charts as CSVs, Powerpoint or Excel files, or send them directly to your printer.
Dashboard Types
The default Analytics Dashboards cover Timelips, Events, Matters, and Task Management. Key information is placed at the top of each Dashboard for easy access. Out-of-the-box filters make the Analytics Dashboards a particularly powerful tool. By filtering for specific results, Users can better understand their profitability across different sectors.

Timeslips
- View Total Hours and Total Lodestar at the top of the Dashboard
- Filter by Matter and Timekeeper
- See further Billing Details, including Hours and Amount, in various data displays

Events
- Filter by Matter, Matter Status, Timekeepers, Event Code, and Event Status at the top of the Dashboard
- Gain additional insights into upcoming Events by clicking on individual elements
- Get an overview of the total number of upcoming Events to plan more effectively

Matters
- Filter by Matter Type, Matter Number, Matter Status, and User at the top of the Dashboard
- View Matter Details, Billing Summaries, Team Members by Matter, Deadlines by Matter, and click on elements in these charts to automatically filter for additional information

Task Management
- Filter by Matter, User, and Due Date at the top of the Dashboard
- Quickly identify Past Due Tasks, Upcoming and Overdue Tasks by Month, and Tasks by Team Member for an instant overview of workflow distribution
- Know how to address Past Due Tasks at a glance with key information readily on display
Setting Up Analytics
To use Clarra Analytics, your company’s Admin must first contact Clarra to request access. Once granted, set up is straightforward:
- Click on your Profile Icon
- Select “Account Settings”
- Select the “Integrations” tab
- Scroll to “Domo”
- Press “Enable” to the right
The Clarra Team will also work with you to customize Analytics to include tailored Dashboards and metrics suited specifically to your organization. Custom Dashboards help you get even more out of Analytics, fine-tuned to provide the insights you need.
