Custom Reports allow you to create tailored Reports providing specific and targeted information. Creating a Custom Report is simple and can be done in just a few steps.
Custom Reports are dynamic, living Reports that update automatically to include results that match the selected criteria. If you add a new item that fits the chosen parameters after creating a Custom Report, it will be automatically added to the Report.
Custom Reports can be made for the Contacts, Matters, Events, ClarraDocs, Timekeeping, Communications, and Users sections. These Reports can process data from one selected section, but cannot draw data from multiple sections in the same Report.
Within Custom Reports, you can filter for specific results, choose a custom sort order, and determine which User Roles will have access to the Report. You can select multiple filters for a Report, which will stack together, meaning the results will need to match all selected filters to be included.

Custom Reports can be as detailed as you’d like, and the video below shows a fairly comprehensive example. Say you want to see Events that are Not Done or In Progress and Assigned to You for the next 7 days. Here, we’ll take advantage of the dynamic design of Clarra’s Reports feature by using a rolling date range, so every time you open the report, it’s up-to-date for the coming week.
