Clarra’s AI Timekeeping feature is designed to boost efficiency and reduce time spent on menial data entry. With just the click of a button and a short prompt, you can generate a Timeslip with Clarra’s AI. The fields will be filled in a few seconds, and a Timeslip ready for your review will appear. After reviewing the auto-generated Timeslip, you can save it and be on your way to your next task.
Create an AI Timeslip:
- Click the starry icon in the top right corner of your screen, labeled “AI Timekeeping”

Enter (or speak) a short prompt describing what the Timeslip covers, mentioning:
- The duration of the task
- The Matter the task is related to
- The actions completed
- A short description will be created, and the most appropriate Activity Code and Task Code (aka Project) will be selected
- You can also have Clarra fill out a note by saying, "Create a note..."
- Press “Create AI Timeslip”
- Review the information on the Timeslip
- Press “Save”
Here are examples of what you could say or type to create an AI-generated timeslip.
- I spent three hours appearing for a CMC for the Acme Corp matter.
- I spent 2.5 hours yesterday preparing for depositions for the Smith versus Johnson case.
- I spent .4 hours speaking with the client regarding the settlement of the Globex matter. Create a note to create tasks to follow up with the client on Friday.
- A101 L330 last Friday on matter 105405.
- I spent 2 hours today drafting a demand letter for the Holmes case.
