Clarra’s Timekeeping feature utilizes Activity Codes and Task Codes to better organize your experience. Similar to Event Codes, Activity and Task Codes provide you with instant insight into the activity and task that substantiate a logged timeslip without having to read the timeslip’s description. At a glance, you know the general purpose of the activity work was done for, and the specific task accomplished.
- Activity Codes are used to describe the specific actions taken and work being done.
- Task Codes are used to classify the activity. These codes are especially helpful for grouping billing records.
Both sets of codes that are prepopulated in Clarra come from the UTBMS code database. Activity Codes are from the LOC Revised Activity Codes, and Task Codes are from the ABA Litigation Codes. You can easily import codes for other categories from the UTBMS site.
Both Activity and Task Codes help Users organize and retrieve information more effectively, and contribute to a more efficient workflow. You can rename both terms, edit existing Activity and Task Codes, and add custom codes to their respective dropdown menus.
