The Phone Call Logging feature on Clarra provides Users with an all-in-one platform to record call histories and associated information.
Logged Calls allow you to:
- Document the date and time a call took place
- Record the call’s duration
- Create a timeslip for the call
- Associate the call with Contacts
- Associate the call with a Matter
- Tag the call for easy retrieval
- Write a description summarizing the call
- Attach files related to the call, such as a transcript
Logging calls makes for easy Audit Trails, organized records of conversations, accurate and efficient time tracking, and visibility across workflows. This makes sharing call details with team members simple and convenient. You can view call histories as part of the Communications section, within a Matter’s Communications tab, or within a Contact’s Communications tab.
Navigate to Log a Call:
- Select the Communications section on the left
- Click “+ New Communications”
- Hover over “Log Communications”
- Select “Log a Call”
OR
- Select the “+” icon in the top right corner
- Hover over “+New Communications Item”
- Select “Log a Call”
Log a Call:
- Select “Phone” as the “Type”
- Enter the duration of the call or use the running timer
- Select which Contact the call was from
- Select which Contact the call was to
- Select which Matter the call is related to
- Choose Tags for the call (optional)
- Enter the call’s Subject
- Write a Description of the call (optional)
- Attach Files to the call (optional)
- Select the Date and Time the call took place
- Press “Save”
If you enter a duration for the call, you will be automatically prompted to create an associated Timeslip.
