All Accounting features are connected to Matters and/or Clients. Forecasts, Expenses, and Payments must be connected to a Matter. Invoices can be connected to Matters and Clients.
Clients must be connected to Matters. You can connect a Client to a Matter when creating a new Matter or by editing the Matter Info of an existing Matter. In the “Matter Information” section at the top of Matter Info, select the Client linked with the Matter in the field “Client”. Clients must first be added as Contacts before they can be designated as Clients within a Matter’s Info tab.
By linking each Accounting feature with Matters and Clients, Users can easily keep track of Expenses, Invoices, and Payments on a Matter and Client basis. This Matter focus sets Clarra apart from other accounting platforms that are more exclusively transaction-centric, and makes information organization and retrieval straightforward.
