The Confido Payment Integration provides Users with a convenient and secure payment processing platform fully synchronized with Clarra. With Confido, Clarra Users can include Payment Links on generated Invoices, and Payment Statuses in Clarra update automatically when Payments are submitted.
There are three main steps to set up the Confido Payment Integration on Clarra.
- Enable Confido on the Clarra Integrations page
- Complete your Confido Application
- Connect your Account in Clarra with your Bank Account in Confido
1. Enable Confido on the Clarra Integrations Page
- Click on your Profile Icon
- Select “Account Settings”
- Select the “Integrations” tab
- Scroll to “Confido Legal”
- Press “Connect” to the right
- Sign in to Confido Legal if you already have an Account
- Create an Account for Confido Legal if you do not already have one
- Press “Sign Up”
- Follow prompted steps to create your Account
- Connect your Confido and Clarra Accounts
- Press “Authorize” when prompted to connect Accounts
- A pop-up will appear in the top right corner of Clarra saying “Integration successful”
- The Name of your Account will appear under “Confido Legal” on the Integrations page
- The Status will be “Created”
2. Complete Your Confido Application
- Click on “Complete Application” beneath your Name and Status under Confido Legal on the Integrations page
- Fill out the required information on the “Onboarding with Confido” page
- You will be asked to provide owner information, link at least one bank account, and upload bank statements for two consecutive months and a voided check or bank letter.
- Press “Submit” after filling out the required information
- Press “Send Agreement” to receive an email with the agreement to review and sign
- The Status under Confido Legal on the Integrations page will now say “Submitted”
- Confido then reviews the application and verifies banking information, usually within 24-48 hours
- Users will be notified via email once verification is complete, and the Status on the Clarra Integrations page will now appear as “Active”
- On the Confido Integrations page, Clarra will appear as a Partner Connection
3. Connect Account in Clarra with Bank Account in Confido
- Press the “Accounting” Section on the left side of your screen
- Click on the “Accounts” tab
- Select the Account you want to link with Confido
- The Account Type must be either “Operating Account” or “Trust Account”
- Click on the green pencil icon to Edit the Account
- Click “Link Account to Confido Legal” on the Edit Account page
- Select the Bank Account in Confido Legal to link this Account to
- Accounts must have the same Account Type to be linked. An Operating Account in Clarra can be linked with an Operating Account in Confido, a Trust Account in Clarra can be linked with a Trust Account in Confido.
- Press “Link Account”
- An “Account Linked Successfully” message will appear
- “Connected as (Operating/Trust) Account” will display where “Link Account to Confido Legal” previously did
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and press “Save”
- In Account Details, the Account will now appear as “Connected” with Confido Legal
Be aware of the following default transaction limits, that can be increased by contacting Confido directly:
- Credit and debit card: $99,999.95
- ACH limits vary by law firm, but are generally $50,000 per transaction
