Who in my organization can access CalendarRules?

Subscription fees are charged per court or jurisdiction, not per user, allowing all active users in your organization to access CalendarRules once it's integrated with Clarra.

Courts may announce rule updates with an immediate effective date or a future date. Our system is designed to adapt seamlessly, implementing changes in a staging environment for future updates and updating immediately for urgent changes. Thus, your subscription always remains current without any action required on your part.

Am I always using the latest rules?

Absolutely. Updates are automatic and require no action from you. For instance, if a rule change occurs on December 1—altering the handling of electronic service from adding three days to zero days—this change is instantaneously applied to your subscription. The next calculation you make will reflect the current rule, ensuring compliance without any manual intervention.

How do rule changes impact my calendar events?

For any rule update affecting triggers or events in your calendar, Clarra sends notifications to all Docketing Users involved, detailing the potential impact and options for recalculating or adjusting events accordingly. While most rule changes apply prospectively, any retroactive adjustments are highlighted for attorney review on a case-by-case basis.

Does CalendarRules account for court holidays?

Yes, CalendarRules incorporates court-specific holidays up to the year 2049, ensuring that all event calculations correctly reflect these dates.

What occurs if I adjust a trigger date?
