What are reminders?

Reminders send a notification, either in-app or via email, to the event assignees a certain number of days before the event. A reminder cannot be a stand-alone event, every reminder is associated with a parent event that it reminds of, which can be either an appointment, deadline, or a task. A reminder can be generated from the parent event and is related to it. An unlimited number of reminders can be created for each event.
