Followers are users who would like to be informed about events but they are not the ones assigned to them.  Followers will see events they “follow” on their calendar, however:

  • The time will not be blocked on a follower’s calendar (the events will appear on a follower’s calendar with zero duration).

  • Followers will not receive any reminder notifications about those events.

  • Followers will not receive notifications for messages sent to the assignees of an event. See Message Assignees feature.

Assignees of an event are the users who are responsible for attending the appointment or completing the deadline or task .  Assignees are the sers added in the “Assigned To” field of an event:

  • The time of the event will appear blocked on the assignees’ calendar.

  • Assignees will receive reminder notifications about events they are assigned to.

  • Assignees will receive notifications for messages sent to the assignees of an event. See Message Assignees feature.
